很多juvenile都特别可爱，和其父母没有一点相似之处。比如上面的小box fish, 实际只有5公分大，颜色鲜明。完全不同成鱼沉闷的颜色。还有那个sea hare。也就是日本动画片皮卡丘的原形，只有两公分大小。大概小的不可爱又淘气，谁都不想生养他们了吧。再看看5公分大小的juvenile batfish：

这里还有臭名昭著的pygmy sea horses。他们是全球潜水者通缉的的对象，camouflage的高手。多少人都因它们decompression啊。最倒霉的就是找到他们的时候用的相机是wide angle。20cm的大广角对着一个不到半厘米的珊瑚支一样的海马，简直是大海捞针。最后的那张照片好像是个孕妇爸爸，呵呵。

Raja Ampat又名Four King,四王群岛或四国群岛。在新几内亚半岛，目前属于印尼最东面的西巴布亚省 (West Pepua province)的一部分，在这个省的西北面。这个群岛包含了 1500个岛屿，其中最大的四个为Misool, Salawati, Batanta 和Waigeo。这里也是亚洲与大洋洲的分隔点，可以说，这里是全世界最好的潜点之一。根据CIRAB的2006年的统计，这个地区录得全亚洲最多的海洋生物。生物多样性位居珊瑚三角区之首。曾经在一潜里面录得过284种鱼类的世界纪录。目前有1315种鱼类纪录在案。无论怎么说，这里都是世界顶级的潜水地点。 如果说，你在这里潜水不觉的漂亮，那么最好的方式就是把你的潜水装备全卖掉。这个地区洋流比较多，同时也带来了各种很难在其他地方看到的鱼类。如Wobbegongs Shark, Walking Shanrks, 当然还有成群的Manta Ray, 数不尽的鱼和海龟。由于太平洋战争曾在这里发生，也使它成为决佳的 wreck diving 地点。我们住的Sorido Bay Resort的老板就是一个疯狂的wreck diver。下面就是建在白色沙滩上的Sorido Bay Resort。


Resort的设施相当好。风景也格外漂亮。早上起来，多是阳光甚好。坐在local style的草棚里吃早餐，就可远远望到海水急速的流过sorido海峡。经常还会看到我最喜欢的Kingfisher 里较为罕见的一种Paradise Kingfisher （照片稍候奉上）。 在这里三个星期，每天就是一系列的吃饭，睡觉，潜水和微笑。没有了人间的忧愁，怎能体会不到潜水带来得惊喜。sea hares and juvenile box fish 是我的最爱：

This is what Roosevelt blamed bankers nearly a century ago. It is amazing how history repeats itself; in particular with the contribution of laissez-faire which gives the government little freedom to touch the problems until the shit hits the fan. The free economy is pumped by the greediness of human beings; and when the cycle turns, it becomes the point to test that greediness - or in some way we can say the intelligence/ wolfish individualism of a nation. Thanks god, for some countries, the greediness serves for different purposes. Only at this time of a history, when bankers fade away; when hedgies is on roller coaster; the policy makers & lawyers come into play. Bankers' inventions and policy makers' healing plans catch up with each other evolving into the modern western world. The question for myself is how far can a country go with economic-only-focused plan but a crippled lawmaking?

I have qualms because I feel that I have far too many things I want. This is not good for me. I should like to try a system of denial in next few months.

看看这一次会不会写跑题。someone asked me which is my favorite writer. It is like asking a kid picking up her favorite doll. I won a gold medal in a writing competition in Beijing when I was young enough to express/exaggerate my feelings about Beijing's spring breeze. Since then, I have been spending almost all my spare time stealing other people's ideas. The first foreign novel I red was by Honoré de Balzac which made me start writing things with long philosophical beginnings and cruel endings. Then I red all sorts of foreign classics until I get bored with those deliberately-chosen-to-be-translated-by-the-government. My high school era was full of Storm.T, Oscar Wilde, Stefan Zweig, Jane Austen, war stories about Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu, Jin Yong, crime stories, cartoons and girly poems etc. I think this is the romantic period. Somehow in University, I turned to fancy Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Su Tong, Gabriel García Márquez and Kafka. Now I am reading Raymond Chandler and travel books like South from Granada. Why I am still a little girl that could not get my hands of my dolls.
